Working in Wakad
Wakad is Hinjewadi's dormitory and the brief reflects it. About twelve minutes from the IT park outside peak, which is why the flats fill with people who want the home finished before they move in and are not going to enjoy chasing a contractor from a desk in Phase 2.
Wakad flats are efficient rather than generous — storage is usually the entire conversation. At around ₹9,350 a square foot on the main road and less as you move toward Tathawade, buyers here are careful, and rightly so.
